Timeline: Important Dates

  • 30-Oct – We announce the student competition.
  • 23-Nov – We start taking submissions.
  • 31-Dec – We close submissions. (11:59pm
    US/Pacific Standard Time)
  • 11-Jan – Announce finalists; post finalist books.
  • 15-Jan – Book arrangements for finalists; tell finalists about on-site challenge info and other on-site requirements.
  • 4-Feb – Begin student challenge in Gulfstream @ 8a. to end at 7p.
  • 4-Feb – Finalists, Jury, IxDA Board, IxD10 co-chairs, SCAD Faculty, IxDA Student Chapter President, Keynote speakers meet for celebratory dinner & social reception sponsored by SCAD ID.
  • 5-Feb – Students help hang their poster for exhibition.
  • 6-Feb afternoon plenary – Students give presentations.
  • 6-Feb midnight – All conference voting is halted.
  • 7-Feb breakfast – On site jury voting is complete.
  • 7-Feb morning plenary – Student winner is announced.
