Session Title

Post-Touch: What’s the next-next thing?

Presenter

Nathan Moody

Session Type: Discussion

Touchscreens have been in the public mindset for years now, and multi-touch is becoming entrenched the consumer electronic and computing mainstream. So…what’s next? This discussion is to discuss emergent interface paradigms that are on the horizon but eminently possible, from purely gestural interactions to haptic feedback to augmented reality. We’ll talk about not just what’s possible, but what’s relevant and in what context. Are we heading towards a future of fractured experiences, or a golden age of the right thing for the right use? Join the discussion and let’s find out.
