Content For The Web: Mashing Interactive Copy with User Experience

Presenter

Heather Bansemer, Creatively Mashed

Session Type: Presentation

It has long been said that “it’s not what you say, but how you say it”. Within the interactive world, however, content and its delivery is equally important. I’ll talk about how to use the defined target to generate user specific copy to generate results, cover research into the historical proof into the failures and successes of interactive copy (as it pertains to the user experience), show why interactive copy is an essential aspect of user experience, and what makes for great copy writing and why does it matter to your clients business.

Biography

Heather Bansemer is a seasoned writer with 13 years cumulative experience. She has spent the last several years focused directly on interactive content, working with such clients as MSN and local businesses in the Seattle area.

A poet by nature, Heather has published several pieces in literary magazines.

Heather’s naturally a curious woman. As such, her musings are not only very adept, but just as dynamic as Heather herself. Many times, I’ve asked this expert to revise some copy for me. Each time, her suggestions equal more than the sum of the parts I handed her with. Extraordinarily talented, Heather, well, rocks.
