Session Title
Into the Abyss: Navigating The Transition to Agile
Presenter
Jeff Gothelf, TheLadders.com
Session Type: Presentation
As more and more organizations take to Agile as their preferred development methodology, more UX practitioners are being asked to work within that framework. There are many ways to incorporate these two seemingly foreign practices. This discussion will walk through how the UX team at TheLadders.com took on this challenge, planned ahead, forged their own UX/Agile vision and came out (relatively) unscathed and successful on the other end.
Biography
Jeff Gothelf (@jboogie) is currently the Director of UX at TheLadders.com where he is tasked with leading a cross-functional team of designers, IxD’s and copywriters while also driving a vision for the evolution of the various products offered there. Prior to TheLadders, Jeff led an Interaction Design team at Publicis Modem in NYC focused primarily in the pharmaceutical sector. Also, he’s a pretty funny guy. See?
